The Alliance Defense Fund is a unique Christian legal organization that works to protect and defend traditional family values, religious freedom, and the sanctity of human life.

The leaders of over 30 ministries founded ADF in 1994, including Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family, Dr. Bill Bright of Campus Crusade for Christ, and Dr. D. James Kennedy of Coral Ridge Ministries. Their prime concern: the dramatic loss of religious freedom and the ability of people of faith to live and share the Gospel.

ADF works with other groups to confront the ACLU and other like-minded organizations to keep the door open for the Gospel in America. In addition, it is their goal to restore religious freedom as it was originally envisioned by the framers of the Constitution.
